I keep on putting off my blog! Quick update: I live in St Cloud, Mn, now. I live in an apartment with two other people. One female and one male. So far that has been rather interesting. You know the usual roomy stuff happens. Guy roommate eats all my snacks and doesn’t wash dishes or clean. Girl roommate is pretty chill but she keeps on using my expensive olive oil. I wouldn’t mind so much if I didn’t find the bottle just thrown back into the cabinet. My classes are pretty interesting. I just wasn’t expecting so much reading and homework! Well I’m off to my next class! Au reviour!

I hope everyone had an awesome holiday. I partied all new years eve along with my family. I woke up on new years day and walked downstairs only to find my cousins, aunts, uncles, and siblings all snuggled in the living room still sleeping. It was hilarious. I watched Les Miserables that day with a group of friends. One of my friends was so tired she fell asleep during the movie. Afterwards wee went to godfathers for some pizza. It was delicious. Yum. But not as delicious as the mexican food we ate on new years eve. OMG… I’m hungry now. I’m heading downstairs for some food.

Wow it’s been so long since the last time I posted (which was August 2012) and even then I wasn’t doing a good job. I want to keep blogging for a reason. I just finished my last semester at my community college and am now heading off to the big U! I will be moving in to my U’s city in about 3 weeks. Oh my word! So simply what I want is to post about this next milestone in my life so I can look back one day and remember the memories. I also got an I pad for Christmas now I can blog like crazy! Which reminds me MERRY CHRISTMAS! A bit late I know.

I’m getting ready for my favorite event of the year. Not including my birthday and Christmas! I’m raiding my closet, my shoes, sunglasses, and accessories. I’m grooming myself to perfection to meet my favorite rockstars! I’m packing essentials like an empty water-bottle for refills, an extra shirt, blanket, sunscreen, and snacks. I also need to take out cash from the atm since they are old school when it comes to paying. I also need to find the perfect bag to carry my things in. Not too big and not too small. This Warped is gonna be the best yet!

Yes you heard right… I will be taking a summer class starting June 4. It’s a four credit math class jam packed into 5 weeks. O_O what am I getting myself into!!!

It’s the only way I can have a less packed fall semester. Fall semester will already be a full 15 credits full of communication classes, religions, ecology, and a required writing class that I’m taking early so I can transfer to my preferred school in the spring.

The pros of this: I will not take a math class this fall semester. My boss will be forced to not schedule me so much for work. Earning college credit instead of sitting and watching tv like I am right now O_O

The cons: It’s from 9-12pm. Four times a week. I’m used to my college classes all starting 2pm and after. It’s interfering with my snooze time.

So yeah the pros outweigh the cons as you see.

I couldn’t sleep last night. I kept staring at my alarm clock then trying to sleep but feeling awake. It was horrible. I finally heard the alarm go off at 6am and headed off to take a shower. I got to work and customers were piling in like crazy (Our local grocery store closed down for reconstruction… unfortunately). I finally got off work at 2pm and I went home to eat and finish my math take home test. I decided I had enough time for an hour nap. Everything was going great until I woke up and looked at the alarm clock. It was 7pm. My Math final was at 5pm…………………. FML Plus I hadn’t finished the take home test that was due on the day of our exams……. ahhhhhhh HELP!

I hate being asked why I’m vegetarian. I just am. I love animals, I hate cruelty enough said. If I ask Why are you a meat eater? The answer will be “I just am.” “God made us eat meat.” “That’s how I grew up.” or some non-vegetarians will be rude and say something to make me feel uncomfortable and want to hide in a hole. They will bring up horrible things like how animals deserve to die because they are stupid. They will laugh at me and tell me they will eat a whole cow in front of me.

Vegetarians like to be asked things like “how long have you been a vegetarian?” (especially if we’ve been one for years!) “what’s your favorite food.” “Can I try some of your food?” and etc. (Although unfortunately we don’t get asked those very frequently)

I’m so happy to find someone who went through the same stages as me. Although I started at 17, my parents got angry with me also when I told them I wanted to stop consuming meat. After month one they started taking me a little more seriously and it’s been two and a half years now! They respect me so much with my decision they make sure to use different spoons when cooking my food and theirs. The jokes have stopped more or less and they have even taken some of my vegetarian foods into their daily cooking and meals. I know others might not be this lucky or are afraid to take the initiative and tell their parents they want to become vegetarian, but do it! My parents are Hispanic, as in MEAT EATERS, and it was very hard on them to accept my no meat concept. It was like telling them god did not exist. If my parents got over it yours can too! Good luck fellow vegetarians and vegans!

I’m laying in my bed exhausted from work and finals… unfortunately I’m not done with finals until next Wednesday… and with work….well I’ll never be finished. On the bright side it seems like whenever I have finals I have the most fun. I always end up going out more with friends than when I’m not busy with finals. Am I the only one that does this? TELL ME!!!

It’s 12pm right now and I’m sitting in my kitchen surfing the web while watching the Ghost Whisperer. In two hours I will be working a new shift. That means I will have to be trained today again for seven hours. How horrid! I went through this a month ago for my main shift. I work today from 2-9pm that means seven hours of grueling cleaning (which is what second shift mainly does). I had to work today. Yes, on thanksgiving. Fortunately my shift ended at 2pm and my family doesn’t celebrate until 5pm or later. Perks about this: I get double pay for a holiday, I won’t miss my family dinner, and everybody is happy. Doesn’t usually work out like that normally does it? Yeah I’m one of the lucky ones. Anyways I just want to let people know that I am not an ungrateful little brat. I am thankful for the government paying my tuition for college, for getting a job one week before my birthday, for having the most amazing people in my life, and last but NOT least for my family who always have my back 100% of the time. This is officially my second Thanksgiving as a vegetarian. Chances are I will be the only one in my family who doesn’t feel drowsy after eating ;)

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are getting divorced? I just found out and I am celebrating all over the place! I never liked that pair as a couple and now maybe they will finally get partners with each others same level of maturity. Ashton is young and needs to party while Demi is errr… uhm young looking but needs a more mature man. This means Kutcher is back on the market! A certain Sara Leal is said to have been the cause of the divorce, but it seems close friends and family everywhere are claiming them to have already had a string thin relationship.

The days have passed and new events, objects, and people have been introduced into my life. For starters I have a job! My first job ever. What do I work in? A gas station. It’s quite nice. A little hectic and fast paced but I can take it. My classes are going great. It’s finals month and it’s a little stressful. The great news is that I don’t break out in acne from stress like I did in high school! I will admit I was a crater face all through high school. I guess college is less stressful x100 according to my face. Of course that doesn’t mean I didn’t obtain the freshman 15 … :( I lost all of my muscle I had this summer from women’s rugby. I bet I can’t even run a mile right now with out needing three breaks. I am in great need of a gym membership! Thanksgiving is in two days! I cannot wait to blog my thanks on Thursday! Hope I get people to actually read it!

Summer is going by fast. Soon I’ll start college and leave my high school methods behind… or will I remain the same? I hope whichever way it goes that it’s for the better.
